Adding a company in e-PayDay® can be achieved two ways. The easier of the two is via the 'Add Wizard '. See Add Wizard
The alternative method is below.
To add a company, from the main screen, click on the 'Company' picture button and then select the 'Add' button.

The following message will appear:

If you wish to use the payrates, allowances, awards etc as previously setup in one of your current companies, click on the down arrow at the end of the field and choose that company from the list and click 'OK'. The only thing that wont be brought across will be the employees from that existing company.
If you do not wish to proceed, click 'Cancel'.
A blank company details screen will appear waiting for you to complete the fields, starting with 'Trading Name'.

Trading Name - the name that the company trades under and that you wish to print on all Reports, PaySlips, etc.
Full Registered Company Name / Name of Group Employer - enter the Company Name of the registered Company or the name of the Group employer Company. This name will be printed on Payment Summaries only, and it may be the same as the Trading Name.
ACN or ARB Number (if applicable) - the Australian Company Number, or Australian Registered Business Number. You need to enter the text "ACN" or "ARB" in front of the number.
ABN - the company ABN as supplied by the Australian Taxation Office.
Branch Number - the company's branch number as supplied by the Australian Taxation Office (if applicable). This number is used when the registered company has more than one office trading in different locations. (eg. ABC – Brisbane = Branch Number 001. ABC – Sydney = Branch Number 002)
Established/Start Up Date - the date of when the company was first established or when the business first started trading.
Setup Date - the date of when this company was initially setup for use in e-PayDay®.
Business Address - the business address for the company.
Phone Number - the current telephone number for this company.
Fax Number - the current facsimile number for the company. If you do not have a fax number, enter the area code, as no fields may be left blank on this window.
E-mail - the e-mail address if applicable. This is a compulsory field, if you do not have an e-mail address type 'NA'.
Current Company Folder is - this will be entered automatically by e-PayDay® when you install the program and cannot be changed just from this field. This folder is where the data is stored for the selected company.
Registration Key - you may NOT operate the program commercially until you have received your Company Registration Key from e-PayDay Pty Ltd. You may run the 'Practice Company' provided that you DO NOT CHANGE the Company Name.
To register this new company see Registration
To save, click 'OK' and return to the Company List.
If you do not wish to save your entries, click 'Cancel' to exit back to the Company List.
