By default it will display the current folder which holds these additional zip files. Inside it there will be a folder with the same name as each of the companies you have in e-PayDay®. If one is missing then it will be created when that company is next backed up. The folder 'multi' is for storing archived backup files where more than one company has been backed up at the same time. A different folder can be selected to hold these 'data' and 'multi' folders whilst in this screen.

As an example, if the first company is backed up on the 04/09/2003 then a file will created called 040903-1.zip and it will placed in a folder called data in the archive backup folder as seen above. If it were the second company then this file would be saved in a data2 folder. If that same company was backed up again on the same day then a further file will be saved to that folder called 040903-2.zip, and so on and so forth.

Restoring from an archive of a backup

1. Proceed through the Restore Wizard until at the 'Select Location' screen

2. Place a dot next to 'Archive Backup'

3. Immediately a window will appear, as per below

The folder that appears open will be the one that holds the archives of the backups for the company which you are currently in. If you wish to restore from an archive for a different company then double click on the parent to current folder open, and then select that company's data folder namesake.

Once the right folder has been selected, over to the left will be the archived backup files by name. Highlight one, remembering that they were named according to the date they were created on. Then click 'OK' and complete the restore wizard.
