The LiveUpdate™ facility of e-PayDay® is designed to enable users to easily keep their payroll program up to date with the latest modifications and bug fixes that occur outside of major upgrades. The process involves the computer on which e-PayDay® is running, accessing the internet and downloading a self-installing update file.
e-PayDay® can be set to launch LiveUpdate™ on a regular basis. This is achieved in the 'User 2' TAB of the company information. See User Information. Alternatively you can launch LiveUpdate™ by selecting Utilities from the main dropdown menu then select e-PayDay® LiveUpdate™.
If e-PayDay® has been configured to regularly check the internet for updates, below is the screen that you will be presented with when entering the program

The regularity of this prompt can be altered via the drop down box at the bottom of the message.
To launch LiveUpdate™ click on the option 'Click here to CHECK for a more recent version'.
Which ever way LiveUpdate™ is launched, below is the opening screen

Click Begin Live Update to continue. A progress bar enables you to see how it is going.

Once connected to our on-line server LiveUpdate™ will check for an update that is applicable to your version of e-PayDay®. LiveUpdate™ will download and install any updates it downloads. Once complete click on the X at top right hand side of the dialogue box.
