If there are any conditions on SGL for the employees linked to this award, this is the place to set out those conditions.
For employees who are required to earn greater than $450 per calendar month before SGL is calculated enter $450 in the 'No Payment if Less than' field.

NOTE: Once the employee has reached the $450 for the month, the program will automatically calculate the SGL for that entire month.
For employees who are entitled to a certain percentage of super even if they do not reach the $450 for the month, refer to the example below.
Example: If the award states that they are entitled to 3% SGL even if have not reached the $450 for the month. If they earnt more than $450, they would get the federal rate (9% for financial year 2004-2005)

NOTE: Once the employee has reached the $450 for the month, the program will automatically calculate the SGL for that entire month, less any amount already taken out for the lesser calculation.
For employees that have weekly rulings as well as monthly rulings, refer to example below.
Example: If the award states that they are entitled to SGL if they earn over $450 for the month, and in addition, if they are under the age of 18, SGL is only applicable for those weeks (within that calendar month) they have worked over 30hrs.

See example below:

If a full-time employee is under the age of 16yrs and is not entitled to super, they can still be linked to an adult award but in the Super Rules Tab the age (16) is filled in. See example below:
