NOTE:  The program will NOT allow Duplicate buttons.

'Launch the Application' - place a cross in this box if you wish to launch a new application.  You can launch any external application within our program.  (eg.  If you wish to make notes during a payrun, you can create a 'Word Pad' application by simply choosing the 'write.exe' path from Windows).  Only one external application can be added.

NOTE: Once you have created the new application and you wish to add this to the Main Menu Bar, you will need to drag this new icon over an existing button.  This will override the function of that button.

If you don't wish to add it to the Main Menu Bar but you wish to access this application, click on the word 'Utilities' and select this application from the pull-down menu.

'Browse' button - if you don't know the path to the new application, click on this button to search for it. Once you have chosen the correct path the icon for this application will appear automatically and the path to that application will be shown.

Button Text - You can manually change the text for this new application for easier viewing/understanding (eg. Write.exe – change to Word Pad).

'Change Icon' button - if you do not wish to show the default icon, press this button and you can browse for a new icon.

Number Of Buttons - you have the choice of viewing from no buttons to all buttons on the main window. If you choose to view only four (4) buttons, it will be the first four (4) from Left to Right.

Show Icons and/or Text - this gives you the option to view either the Icons & Text or just the Icons.

Click 'OK' to save the changes and go back to the Company, User Tab window.

Click 'Cancel' to exit back to the User Tab window, without saving the changes.

PayDay Button - if you select 'Yes' the Payrun Button will be displayed and progressively move across the main screen (as long as the move speed is set above 0).

PayDay Move Speed - if you have selected the Payday Button to move, then select the speed at which movement is to be maintained (0 = NO movement [stationary], 10 = being the fastest speed)

Backup Prompt - click on the drop down arrow to select 'yes' or 'no' to have a message prompting you to Backup your data after the data has been changed.

NOTE: It is recommended that a backup is carried out before finalising the payrun providing you are not creating an Export file to an accounting package.  If you DO create an export file, please perform a backup after finalising the payrun to avoid double entries to the accounting package if a restore is required.

Sort Company Names for Backup in – when using the backup wizard you have the choice of viewing your companies in either Alphabetical Order or the Order the Companies were created.

If you are not satisfied with the changes made, click on 'Undo' to return the options to how they were when you originally entered the 'User' TAB.

Once you have made the necessary changes, click on the 'OK' button to save and return to the main screen.

If you do not wish to save the changes, click on the 'Cancel' to escape back to the main screen.
